Blogger Creates Online Community To Help Other Writers Grow Their Brands

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After turning her blog into a business, a local fashion blogger has created a community to help other bloggers grow their brands.
Philly Blog Love is a network of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle bloggers.
"The great thing about Philly is that its such a fashion forward city so there's a lot to cover, there's a lot going on," founder and fashion blogger Jessie Holeva said. "At the same time, even though its a big city it has a small town feel."
She says networking and the relationships built through the site have really helped her career.
"I wanted it to be a community, offer something that's free to members, and a way for them to educate themselves and also foster relationships."
In 3 years, Holeva has turned her blog "Trendhungry" into a career.
"Big tip, just start the blog. I meet so many people that say I want to be a blogger and I've been thinking about this for years. Just start and do it, nothing is perfect in the beginning. We as people are not perfect, we're constantly evolving and your blog will too."
