WEATHER BLOG: Feeling Like Summer

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- A summer-like air mass continues to build into the Delaware Valley this weekend with above average temperatures.

High temperatures resembled June on Sunday as they reached the low 80s.

If you want warmer weather, just wait until Memorial Day when high temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s, which is typical for the middle of July.

The warm air mass hangs around for Tuesday as highs will reach the mid 80s again. However, a cold front will approach the region later in the day, bringing some afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms.

Behind the front, cooler temperatures return for Wednesday with highs below average in the low to mid 70s.
