Police: Alleged Meth Lab Found In Bridesburg

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two arrests were made after Philadelphia Police found an alleged methamphetamine lab in Bridesburg Thursday night.

Around 6 p.m., police say the Narcotics Field Unit was serving a warrant in the 4200 block of East Thompson Street when the discovery was made.

According to investigators, the alleged meth lab is believed to be inactive.

The bomb squad responded and homes were evacuated along the street.

Residents were able to return to their homes around 9 p.m. Police say two arrests were made.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
