Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Van In Philadelphia; Police Investigating Driver For DUI
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a van Monday afternoon.
Authorities say around 1:41 p.m. a white van fatally struck a 54-year-old man working in the area of 8th Street and Girard Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the driver of the van is being investigated for driving under the influence. Authorities also took a blood sample from the driver.
