1-Year-Old, 2 Others Injured In Northeast Philly Car Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A one-year-old escaped with minor injuries after a serious car accident Saturday in Northeast Philadelphia.

This happened just after 11 a.m. on Grant Avenue near Leon Street.

The car was reportedly badly damaged after the driver drove into a median, then struck a tree.

Two women in their 20's were in the car in addition to the infant. One of the two women had to be extricated. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

There's no word yet on what led to this one-car accident.
