By Dan Wing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 17-year veteran of the Philadelphia police force has been dismissed for numerous violations.
Police say the internal affairs division has been conducting an ongoing investigation into the actions and the conduct of 39-year old Officer Jeffrey Cujdik. Cujdik served on the Narcotics Field Unit, and knowingly falsified department reports and records in addition to lying about facts during an investigation.
Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey says Officer Cujdik will be suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss.
