LinkedIn has announced it reached 300 million registered users, a jump from 277 million members at the beginning of the year. The company has added an average of 6.6 million new users per month over the past 15 months.

LinkedIn revealed these and other figures via a company blog post.

These numbers represent registered users, not those who visit the site on a monthly basis.

Facebook Updates

Facebook has rolled out another update for its iPhone app.

The social network has added the ability to reply to comments on stories on certain brand Pages.

Also, admins can now review and approve pending posts and posts about trending topics are highlighted in the iPad version of News Feed.
