PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a frightening armed store robbery that was caught on tape.
The incident happened at about 8:35 a.m. on April 12th at Kim’s Market in the 6200 block of Market Street.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store and grabbing a can of soda. The suspect then waits for a customer to leave the counter and approaches an employee.
As the suspect hands the money to the employee and the employee turns her attention to retrieving change from the register, the suspect wipes out a handgun and places it against the head of the employee.
The employee, startled by the gun against her head, immediately drops to the ground.
The suspect then reaches through a protective plexiglass windown and takes an undisclosed amount of cash from the register drawer.
The suspect then puts the handgun back into his waistband and casually walks out of the store.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 35-years-old, 5’10”, bald with a mustache and a medium build. He was wearing a white jacket and black pants.
