2 Philadelphia Men Arrested For String Of Commercial Robberies
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Police Department says it's arrested two suspects believed responsible for multiple commercial robberies.
Thirty-eight-year-old Luis Soler and 34-year-old Freddie Rodriguez, both of Weymouth Street, were arrested in January 2014 after a credible tip was received from an anonymous caller.
Police say an investigation into 14 commercial robberies that happened between Dec. 20, 2013 and Jan. 9, 2014 resulted in charges for the two men.
Due to that investigation, Soler was identified as the suspect in those robberies, and Rodriguez is believed to have helped him during three of them.
