UPDATE: 90-Year-Old Man Dies From Injuries In Hamilton Township Fire

HAMILTON Twp.,  N.J. (CBS) -- The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says a 90-year-old man has died from his injuries after a house fire in Hamilton Township.

The fire was reported around 5 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Arena Drive.

The Prosecutor's Office says two female residents, ages 64 and 27, along with a two-year-old were able to get out of the house.

A 90-year old-male, identified by investigators as Angelo Parmigiani, was found by firefighters in the front bedroom.  He was found to be unconscious with significant burns.  He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton where he was pronounced dead.

The two female residents were taken to the hospital for observation.

Police say several homes were evacuated and the entire block was blocked off.

Firefighters from the DeCou, White Horse, Rusling, Groveville, Hamilton and Bordentown Fire Departments responded to the blaze.

Detectives from the Hamilton Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office are leading the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire.

However, the Prosecutor's Office says the preliminary investigation indicates that the fire was accidental in nature.
