By Mike Dougherty

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The American Red Cross chapter of Southeastern Pennsylvania held its' 14th annual Red Ball Saturday night, the organization's largest fundraiser of the year.

KYW's Mike Dougherty reports from the Please Touch Museum.

Money raised at the gala goes to fund the Red Cross humanitarian efforts throughout the year. CEO Renee Cardwell-Hughes says this year's goal is half a million dollars. Visitors are definitely getting their money's worth.

"You move throughout the entire Please Touch Museum, from station to station to station, eating delicious food, drinking wonderful libations and having lots of fun all while raising money for The American Red Cross," Cardwell-Hughes said.

With about 30 different restaurants here, there's something to fit just about anyone's palate. Vernon was moving quickly.

"I tried the short rib with waffle, which was pretty good. I had the crab cake and the eggroll cheesesteak," Vernon said.

Yes, the crab cakes are phenomenal.
