EXCLUSIVE: Relative Of Woman Killed In Ewing Township Explosion Speaks Out

EWING Twp., N.J., (CBS) -- The family wants to know if Linda Cerritelli's death could've been prevented.
Were mistakes made, if so who is responsible.

In the chaotic moments after the explosion, scanner traffic indicates emergency crews tried to get a handle of the situation in Ewing Township, New Jersey.
"Multiple reports of victims outside..."
Sixty-two-year-old Linda Cerritelli was killed in the blast.

Her family is stunned that such a vibrant loving woman is gone.
"I was stunned. I couldn't believe it. I just couldn't believe it," Cerritelli's cousin Pam Terra of West Chester said.
She tells Eyewitness News reporter Todd Quinones Cerritelli wasn't feeling well and decided to work from her home Tuesday, and less than an hour before the explosion, sent a family member an email.
"Her sister Carol got an email from her at 12:15 that afternoon saying she wasn't feeling good, she was home working and that she smelled gas and that the workers were outside," Terra said.
The explosion happened about 50 minutes later, before her sister got a chance to look at the email.
Terra says the family demands answers.
They want to know what went wrong and were steps skipped that could've saved Cerritelli's life.
"She had two sisters and two brothers and she was the hub. She kept everyone together," Terra said.
The 62-year-old also leaves behind a son and grandchildren.
The investigation into the explosion is still underway, it is not complete.
