PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It’s National Pancake Day, and as usual, a national chain is celebrating.

IHOP is offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to guests all day today.

Additionally, diners will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and/or the Children’s Miracle Network.

IHOP says its goal is to raise $3 million for the organization this year, to bring the total number of funds raised since the event’s 2006 inception to $16 million.
