PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are looking for a suspect who fled the scene of a hit and run accident.
According to police, on Feb. 17, 2014 around 5 p.m., the victim, a 32-year-old male, was standing on the shoulder of the westbound lane of the 6200 block of Kingsessing Avenue attempting to repair his bicycle.READ MORE: South Philly Basketball Camp Hosted By Councilmember Isaiah Thomas Defies Intense Heat
During that time, a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee traveling west on Kingsessing Avenue struck the victim, leaving him with severe head injuries.READ MORE: Raising Cane's Opens 2nd Philadelphia Location Near Temple University Campus
The vehicle briefly came to a stop before continuing to travel west on Kingsessing Avenue.
