UPDATE: 15-Year-Old Girl Charged As Adult For Stabbing 14-Year-Old Boy In Point Breeze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday a 15-year-old girl is being charged as an adult for the stabbing of another teen in Point Breeze.
It happened at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Watkins Street.
Philadelphia Police say a 14-year-old boy was stabbed once in the chest.
He was rushed to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by police. He is listed in critical condition.
On Wednesday, the District Attorney's Office charged 15-year-old Amber Hellesten as an adult with Attempted Murder in connection with the stabbing.
She is awaiting arraignment in police custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
