NJ Man Charged With Using Facebook Accounts To Send Porn To Underage Girls

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ (CBS) – A 19-year-old male from northern New Jersey has been arrested for allegedly using three separate Facebook accounts to send pornographic materials to underage girls in Ocean County.

Police say that in November of 2013, a woman reported that her 10-year-old daughter had received porn and graphic sexual dialogue from an unknown male during a Facebook chat.

With the help of the Ocean County High Tech Crime Unit (HTCU), police in Bergen County, NJ exercised a warrant at 792 Fairview Lane in Cliffside Park.

As a result of evidence seized inside the home, Tyler Anderson was arrested.

Police say Anderson first befriended an underage girl from Ocean County on Facebook then expanded that to include a network of hundreds of underage girls in Ocean County by creating two additional Facebook accounts under the assumed identities of Alec Rivera and Eric Plato.

Anderson was charged with 3rd Degree Child Endangerment and 3rd Degree Distribution of Obscenity to Persons Under the Age of 18. He is currently being held in the Ocean County Jail.
