Man Struck By Falling Tree In Narberth In Critical Condition

NARBERTH, Pa. (CBS) -- A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after an ice-covered tree fell on him in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.

The freak accident happened at about 8 a.m. on Shirley Road in Narberth.

According to investigators, an ice-covered tree gave way and fell onto a man underneath it.

The male was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is listed in critical condition.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
