Woman Struck, Killed In Camden County
SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- A female pedestrian died after she was struck by a car in South Jersey Thursday night.
The deadly accident happened along Blue Anchor Road near Blue Meadow Lane in Sicklerville, Camden County.
According to police, the unidentified woman, in her 40's, stepped into oncoming traffic before she was hit. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification to the next of kin.
No charges have been filed.
The accident is under investigating.
