Eagles Center Jason Kelce Will Eat At Wing Bowl 22

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If all things went the way Jason Kelce would have wanted, he'd have been busy on the Friday before the Super Bowl. The Eagles loss to the Saints in the first round of the NFL playoffs means that Kelce is free; he's got plans now.

Kelce told the 94WIP Morning Show on Tuesday that he'll eat wings at Wing Bowl 22, January 31st at the Wells Fargo Center.

"Absolutely, no question. I would love to eat in the event, no doubt. I didn't think that was an option," Kelce said. "The only thing that can be bad about it is, I probably won't come close to those guys. I'd trim the beard down a little bit, but it's still probably going to get a little messy. I am saying yes. I will definitely, without question, eat in Wing Bowl."

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly appeared at the event in 2013, just two weeks after being hired by the team.

94WIP Morning Show co-host Al Morganti proclaimed Kelce a "full participant" in Wing Bowl 22. Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos will appear, as well as Sixers head coach Brett Brown.

Tickets for Wing Bowl 22 are sold out, but you can still find out how to win tickets, see pictures and video, and find out more at WingBowl22.com.
