Officer Injured After Cruiser Side-Swiped In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police officer was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries after his car was side-swiped Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. at 17th and Ludlow Streets in Center City.
According to investigators, a civilian vehicle crashed into a police cruiser, which was parked on the street.
An unidentified police officer was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities say the driver stopped at the scene and was being questioned by police.
The driver of the other car was not injured.
