Police: 15 Reported Thefts From Vehicles In Upper Gwynedd Township

UPPER GWYNEDD, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Montgomery County are warning residents about a number of vehicle thefts in one township.

During the early morning hours of Monday, January 13th and Tuesday, January 14th, police in Upper Gwynedd Township received 15 calls about items being stolen from cars in the area.

The thefts were reported on Beth Drive, Clearview Road, Park Road, Dunleavy Place, Kristen Circle, Hartley Place and Collins Avenue.

Items stolen include money, iPods, credit cards, an HP laptop computer and a stethoscope.

Police say most of the vehicles were entered through unlocked doors; however, two cars had windows smashed.

Upper Gwynedd Police are reminding residents to be vigilant about locking their cars and removing valuables from them. Residents are also urged to call police if they see or hear anything unusual.
