Suspect Arrested, Charged For Murder Of Pregnant Woman And Toddler In Bucks County

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a pregnant mother and her 4-year-old son.

On Friday, Bristol Township Police announced the arrest of 21-year-old Marcel Emmanuel Johnson, of Bristol Township, for the Nov. 25th murders of Ebony Capri Talley, 22; her four-year-old son, R-Mani Rankins; and Talley's unborn child.

Police say Johnson allegedly murdered the victims, and then set fire to their bodies and their apartment in an attempt to cover up his crimes.

The victims were later discovered inside the Avalon Court apartments located on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, and Johnson was linked to the crimes via DNA tests.

Johnson is now facing charges of Criminal Homicide (two counts), Criminal Homicide of an Unborn Child, Arson, and Possessing Instrument of Crime.

Police have not yet released a motive.
