PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – As the Philadelphia Eagles players cleaned out their lockers, and said their goodbyes for the 2013-14 NFL season, DeSean Jackson sent the team a message; he deserves a new contract.
Jackson’s cap hit next season is $12.5 million, with a base salary of $10.5 million ($2 million is prorated). If the Eagles cut Jackson, they’d have a $6 million cap hit in 2014.
