Police Search For Missing Teen With Schizophrenia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenager from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Police say 18-year-old Ariel Manuel Martinez-Colon was traveling with his family along I-76 around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when he asked for the car to pull over.

The family pulled the car over near the South Street Bridge and Ariel got out and ran away.

The family was unable to catch up to him.

Ariel suffers from schizophrenia and depression and may not be taking his medication.

Ariel is a Hispanic male, 145 lbs, light complexion with short black hair, brown eyes, a thin mustache, beard and long chin hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white design on the front, dark blue jeans and an Adidas baseball hat. He only speaks Spanish.
