African American Community Celebrates The Start Of Kwanzaa
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--The African American community celebrated the beginning of Kwanzaa Thursday night.
African dance was part of a Kwanzaa program at the Cheltenham Square Mall.
Students learned about all 7 African principles that celebrate life, family, community and culture.
Thursday is dedicated to the unity principle.
The Kwanzaa holiday runs through New Year's.
