Human Remains Found In Camden

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – Officials in Camden are reaching out to the public for help identifying human remains found off an interstate highway on Friday.

The remains of an 18 to 25-year-old black male were found around 3:51 p.m. on Friday off of I-676 near the intersection of Morgan Boulevard and Broadway.

Officials say the man was 5'7" and about 150-175 pounds. He'd had extensive dental work, including four crowned front teeth, and was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt.

While a cause of death couldn't be determined, a forensic anthropologist determined the remains were at the location no more than a year.

Anyone with information on the man's identity is urged to contact the Camden County Prosecutor's Office at (609) 820-7113.
