Earl Wolff May Be A Wing Bowl Candidate

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles have plenty to focus on right now. Beating the Bears, winning the NFC East, the playoffs, and beyond. But once that run is over, Earl Wolff might have a Bowl other than the Super Bowl to compete in; Wing Bowl.

"I can do that [compete in Wing Bowl]," Wolff said to PhiladelphiaEagles.com. "How many wings do they eat? The most I've ever eaten at one time is 50 wings. In how much time? In no time. I don't play games. If I'm going against anybody on the team, for real, I guarantee I win."

When Wolff was informed that winners regularly eat more than 200 wings, he backed off his prediction of winning the event itself, but says he'd be the best candidate on the Eagles.

"I don't do that," Wolff said about eating hundreds of chicken wings. "Ask Coop how much I eat," Wolff said, pointing to Riley Cooper. "You can ask Nick (Foles). Hey Nick, how much can I eat?"

94 WIP's Wing Bowl 22 takes place on Friday, January 31st, 2014 at the Wells Fargo Center. The event is sold out, but they can most likely find a seat for Wolff at the eaters table.
