Drexel Wins At Davidson 72-58

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Frantz Massenat, with 25 points and seven rebounds, helped Drexel earn a 72-58 victory at Davidson on Sunday afternoon.

Davidson's home court shooting got them in trouble in the first half, hitting only 27 percent from the field and just 2-of-13 from beyond the arc as the Dragons took a 37-27 edge going into the break.

Drexel (7-2) hit 7-of-10 free throws in the final minutes in extending the point spread and winning their fourth straight game. Davidson got to within seven points with 6:30 to play but scored only two points in the next four minutes to squelch any comeback attempt.

Davisdon (4-7) is still without the use of injured leading scorer and rebounder, De'Mon Brooks, who has missed the last six games.

Brian Sullivan led Wildcat scorers with 14 points and Tyler Kalinoski added 13 points along with 12 rebounds.
