The company announced the recall on its website, which applies to the IKEA SMILA wall-mounted lamps and includes the following products:

IKEA says the lamp’s cord could pose a strangulation hazard to babies and small children.
Any customer who bought a lamp can call IKEA at (888) 966-4532 to receive a repair kit free of charge.
