Shoppers Swarm King Of Prussia Mall Earlier Than Ever

By Jenn Bernstein

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) – The King of Prussia Mall welcomed Black Friday shoppers even earlier than last year, with doors opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Last year, the Black Friday shopping began at midnight.

"They had awesome sales," one person said.

"I got some Free People jeans; they were, like, half-off," another agreed.

Mall leaders said the early offers were created to accommodate increased consumer demand and busy holiday schedules.

King of Prussia said there were 26 hours of extended Black Friday shopping.
