PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's time to get in the holiday spirit!

Listen to the podcast below...

Michael Krajewski

What has become a tradition in Philadelphia, the Holiday POPS concert, is returning to the Kimmel Center for nine shows in December.

"It's just a huge program, very festive, lots of performers, lots of variety," Philly POPS music director Michael Krajewski explains.

Krajewski says there's no better way to listen to your favorite holiday songs and carols:

"To hear it live, performed by these phenomenal musicians, all of a sudden this music takes on new meaning."

And those in attendance are encouraged to join in on the fun.

"It definitely is an interactive event," Krajewski says. "In fact, there will be a sing-along as part of the program."
