When it comes to medicine, it can get confusing telling one from the other – even for doctors.

The MedSnapID app is able to visually identify over 3,700 types of prescription pills. That’s especially useful in emergency situations, as it also describes how drugs interact with others.

Aimed at the medical community, the app’s free, but it does require a $20 surface that’s sold separately.
