Police Investigate Rash Of Car Burglaries In Medford

MEDFORD, N.J., (CBS) – Police are investigating a rash of car burglaries in Medford, Burlington County.

Medford Police were dispatched at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday morning to Chelsea Court in the Glen at Medford Development for a vehicle burglary.

While on location and canvassing the area, police say they discovered at least 14 additional vehicles had been entered during the overnight hours.

The unknown actor(s) smashed the windows on two cars parked in the development. The remaining cars were left unlocked. Police say proceeds included miscellaneous property and loose change.

It is possible a male suspect was seen walking in the area at about 5:15 a.m. No further description was provided.
