Police Find $500,000 Worth Of Stolen Power Tools, Suspects Arrested

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Philadelphia Police Major Crimes Unit arrested two suspects in connection with a series of van break-ins and power tool thefts in Delaware County in recent months.

The suspects are identified as Joseph Murray and Antoine Gardiner of West Philadelphia. They were tracked using GPS devices to a location at 51st and Lancaster Avenue where they had stored nearly $500,000 worth of stolen power tools taken from work vans from throughout Delaware County.

Murray and Gardiner have been turned over Delaware County authorities and they awaiting court hearings.

Investigators expect to make at least two additional arrests.
