Michael Vick Taking First Team Snaps, Unsure If He'll Play Sunday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The quarterback wheel goes round and round, and it may land on Michael Vick on Sunday.

Reports earlier in the day said that Vick would announce he is ready to start, but Vick stopped short of that.

"I wish I could give you a definite answer, but I can't right now," Vick said after practice. Vick did at that he is "optimistic" at the prospect of starting teh game.

Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur announced that Vick will be taking the first team snaps at practice on Tuesday.

Vick has been sidelined since the Eagles win over the GIants two weeks ago. Nick Foles filled in admirably during the second half of that game, and in the win over the Bucs, but performed poorly in the 17-3 loss to the Cowboys.

"I'm working hard every day, doing everything I can to get out there. Hurts me that the hamstring is keeping me out of football," Vick said.
