Police Searching For Information On Kensington Hit-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are reaching out to the public for information on a hit and run in Upper Kensington that left a 25-year-old severely injured.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. on October 19th, when the victim was allegedly a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling south on 2nd Street approaching Westmoreland Street.

As the car was crossing Westmoreland, an unknown vehicle – possibly a mid- to early-2000 4-door Pontiac – struck the victim's car on the left side, causing them to strike multiple parked cars.

The striking vehicle then fled the scene and was last seen traveling west on Westmoreland Street.

According to police, the striking vehicle may have minor damage to its front bumper and possible black paint scuffing.
