19-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Frankford
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly shooting Monday afternoon in Frankford.
The incident was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the 5100 block of Ditman Street.
Police say that a suspect walked up to a group of people and began firing into the crowd. A 19-year-old man was shot in the chest, lower back and right arm. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital by police, where he was later pronounced dead.
The suspect then left the scene in a stolen car and after crashing it, fled on foot.
