Pa. Turnpike WB Lanes Reopened, Overturned Tractor Trailer Cleared

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--According to Pennsylvania State Police, a tractor trailer carrying trash overturned on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem at mile marker #351.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:46 a.m.

The westbound lanes were shut down for several hours and reopened just before 3:00 p.m.

The tractor trailer was the only vehicle involved and the driver suffered minor injuries.

The truck was going westbound to get on the acceleration ramp at mile marker 351 when it overturned.

Crews spent several hours cleaning trash debris from the road.

All lanes are now reopened to traffic.
