PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Good news for craft beer aficionados: One of the area’s breweries is expanding.

In addition to announcing a new fall menu that includes several gluten-free options, Manayunk Brewing Co. has also revealed it’ll be shutting its doors soon for a large-scale expansion.

The Main Street brewery, which celebrates its 17th anniversary this month, says the renovations will allow it to increase its beer production from 1,800 barrels annually to an estimated 4,000 barrels by 2015.

While there’s no word on exactly when the shutdown will occur, the crews at the brewery are apparently working round the clock to stock up for when the place undergoes construction.
