Fire Rips Through Delaware Car Dealership

NEW CASTLE, DE. (CBS) -- The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that heavily damaged a New Castle car dealership.

The blaze broke out shortly before midnight on Friday at Tenancingo Auto's at 149 South DuPont Highway in Midvale. Firefighters arrived on the scene with flames coming from the one story building.

The building was not open and was unoccupied at the time of the fire, which was discovered by a passing motorist.

The dealership sustained heavy damage, but there were no reported injuries.

An investigation continues into the cause of the blaze.
