The Wildwoods Make List Of Best Beach Towns For Fall
WILDWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Though summer is high season for beach-goers, that's precisely why some people choose to go in the fall – fewer crowds, not to mention lower prices.
Now, Yahoo Travel has ranked the 10 best "sleepy beach towns" for autumn, and The Wildwoods have made the list.
Referring to fall as the area's "Second Season," the article mentions the plethora of events happening in the iconic Jersey Shore town year-round, as well as the great fall beachcombing.
"You'll likely uncover treasures that the summer crowds left behind, along with shells and starfish," Yahoo says.
Other beach towns on the list include Pismo Beach, CA and Nantucket, MA.
