2 Lottery Tickets Worth $1 Million Each Sold In Philadelphia Area

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two people in the Philadelphia area just got $1 million richer.

According to Pennsylvania Lottery officials, two winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million each were sold in the area. The two tickets correctly matched all five white balls, 01-17-25-37-44, but not the red Powerball 20.

The tickets were sold at Ahart's Market at 326 S Walnut Street in Bath, Northampton County, and at Bi Rite Deli at 3220 Red Lion Road in Philadelphia.

Additionally, a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 ticket worth $700,000 from the Friday, Sept. 13, drawing was sold at Sunoco, 235 N. Furnace St., Birdsboro, Berks County.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls, 06-24-29-32-35.

Each retailer will receive $5,000 for selling the tickets.

If you have the winning ticket, the Pa. Lottery asks that you sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery's seven area offices.

And if you haven't already picked up a ticket for the Sept. 18th drawing, you might want to do that now – the Powerball jackpot is at $400 million for that drawing.
