PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and Outta SITE - VLC.

Your phone or tablet certainly has a video player, but it's often not the best choice. VLC not only lets you watch videos, but you can adjust playback speed and tinker with several viewing options, such as on-screen brightness, contrast, saturation and more.

Plus, it supports subtitles, which can be a handy option.
