Campbell's Plans To Roll Out Soup Made In Your Coffee Machine

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – Soup that's made using your coffee machine.

That's the latest from Camden's Campbell Soup Company and Green Mountain Coffee, the company that makes those handy Keurig coffee machines that brew single-serving cups.

According to a release from the company , the two have teamed up to create a new product: Campbell's Fresh-Brewed Soup.

The "mini-meal," as Campbell's refers to it, will be made using the Keurig and includes a broth K-Cup pack and a dry packet of vegetables and pasta.

Right now, the company is planning a 2014 launch date and says the product will come in three varieties, including the classic Homestyle Chicken Broth & Noodle.
