"It's amazing to see her in action," says the orchestra's Executive Director Peter Gistelinck.

She was discovered online, signed to a major label and is perfect for this job, Gistelinck adds.

"She has that extreme passion combined also with a clear vision of why she is playing certain pieces," he explains.

And a youthful energy that makes Mendelssohn's First Piano Concerto exhilarating to experience -- even if it looks torturous to play.

"It's a big deal to have her here. It also is completely in alliance with the mission and the vision of our orchestra to bring young talent into great opportunities for the stars of tomorrow," Gistelinck says.

The Chamber Orchestra presents Mendelssohn and Beethoven, featuring HJ Lim on piano, is taking place on September 15th and 16th at the Kimmel Center's Perelman Theater.
