Reward Offered In Child Luring Cases In Wilson Borough

WILSON BOROUGH, Pa., (CBS) – Police say a businessman has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in two child luring cases in Wilson Borough.

Wilson police say the man wants to remain anonymous.

The first incident happened Sunday at about 3:30 p.m. near Hay Terrace and 19th Street. According to police, a man driving a dark green van approached a girl as she rode her bicycle.

The man is described as in his 50s with a long beard and long hair pulled back in a ponytail.

The second incident happened Tuesday afternoon at 21st Street and Ealer Avenue. Police say an 11-year-old girl was approached by a man who asked for help finding his lost dog. The girl refused and ran home.

Police say the man briefly followed her as she ran.

Before the incident, police say the man was standing near a white van parked on 21st Street. The man is described as black wearing black shoes and pants.
