UPDATE: Police Rescue Missing Jet Skier Near Margate
EGG HARBOR Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Authorities rescued a jet skier who went missing near Margate Tuesday night.
The U.S. Coast Guard says a call was received at about 9:30 p.m. for a missing jet skier near Whirlpool Island.
New Jersey State Police say a 27-year-old man, of Egg Harbor Township, was stranded for five hours. He was rescued by the NJSP Marine unit.
The U.S. Coast Guard helicopter assisted in the search.
The man is listed in good condition.
