PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning in Wissinoming Park.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. According to police, the girl was approached by a 26-year-old man who grabbed her phone and bag, then sexually assaulted her before leaving the scene on foot.

The victim was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital after she flagged down a passerby for help.

Police were able to find the suspect after they were given a description. He was located at Frankford Avenue and Bridge Street and taken into custody without incident. His identity is not available at this time.
