PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Charlie Manuel took some time to say goodbye. He had so many people to thank, it took him two hours.

Manuel, who was dismissed as Phillies manager a week ago, joined 94WIP’s Anthony Gargano and Glen Macnow at Ponzio’s Diner, Bakery and Bar in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, to reflect on his near-decade as manager of the Phillies, and say goodbye to some of his biggest fans.

Phillies fans showed up to pay their respects, and Manuel paid them right back.
