Adventure Aquarium Hosts Special 'Shark Week' Program
CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – It's "Shark Week," and that means legions of shark fanatics across the country are glued to their television through August 11th.
But here in the Philadelphia are, shark fans can get a little closer to the king of the ocean.
Camden's Adventure Aquarium, home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, is offering a special "Shark Week: LIVE!" program that kicked off on August 3rd and runs through the remainder of Shark Week.
In addition to the many sharks on display at the aquarium, guests will have the opportunity to meet shark experts, hang out with mascots, see new shark species and more.
Plus, one lucky (brave!) person will win a once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim with the more than 20 sharks inside the aquarium's Shark Realm.
"Shark Week: LIVE!" runs through August 11th, and visitors can save $5 off admission by either dressing as a shark and showing up at the box office, or heading online to buy tickets with the promo code SHARK.
